Bay Shore, NY (June 16, 2024) – On Saturday, June 15, a motorcyclist was hurt after a collision in the Bay Shore area. The incident was reported on 5th Avenue near Spur Drive early that morning, around 11:30 a.m. It was reported that a motorcyclist was hit by a 2006 Chrysler minivan at the scene.

Local reports indicated that the driver of the Chrysler was exiting a parking lot to travel north on 5th Avenue when it hit a 2021 Suzuki motorcycle. The injured rider, 32-year-old Anthony Dees of Central Islip, was transported to South Shore University Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
