Martin Schiowitz
Managing Partner & Veteran Trial Attorney
Leadership Built on Experience
In 1978, Martin joined Henry Isaacson and helped form what would become Isaacson, Schiowitz & Korson, LLP. Since then, he has led the firm as managing partner, overseeing complex personal injury matters involving automobile accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, products liability, labor law, premises liability, municipal negligence, and civil rights claims.
Over his career, Martin has been trusted to handle some of the most serious and high-stakes cases in New York, consistently delivering results that change lives for clients and families affected by negligence.

Education &
Early Career
Martin earned his B.A. in Economics from Brooklyn College in 1965 and went on to receive his J.D. from New York Law School in 1972. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1973, as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of the U.S. District Court.
From 1973 to 1978, he practiced as an associate trial attorney with Halper, Passick, Prince and Weinstein, an insurance defense firm that also handled plaintiff-side injury claims. Representing both plaintiffs and defendants early in his career gave Martin a unique perspective into how personal injury cases are built, tried, and defended—a perspective he still applies to every case today.
